Importance of Test Weight with Canola

Test weight is an indicator of canola quality, and a low test weight invariably means the grain is of lower quality, and lower value.

Test weight is a measure of canola quality, and a lower test weight, resulting from, for example, weather damage, indicates lower quality seed, which has a lower value du to ts higher processing costs. The AOF has prepared a summary of the importance of test weight, and why a lower test weight means a lower value for the seed. Read details here.
