Volunteer cane plants are continuing to emerge and grow along with other grasses. These will be sprayed shortly with Verdict (once the cane plants have reasonable leaf area and the majority of the volunteers have emerged). An application of broadleaf herbicide, Blazer, will also occur in the near future. This paddock has received almost 90 mm of rainfall since planting(however, 70 mm of that was in one rainfall event).
