Soybean crop is on cane growing property approximately 35 klm south-west of the coastal city of Mackay in Central Queensland. The property incorporates all aspects of the ‘Integrated Farming System’ being promoted in all sugar cane growing areas on the eastern seaboard.

The previous ratoon cane crop was harvested in September 06 and the soybeans (tropical white hilum variety of soybean-Stuart (CSIRO) ) were planted on the 14th December.
