Better Sunflowers Workshops - 2012
Early bird rate ends 30 June 2012 for Moama & Dubbo Better Sunflower workshops
Due to popular demand, two concurrent Better Sunflower workshops will be run in Moama on Wednesday 1 August 2012. The Dubbo workshop on Friday, 3 August, is also filling fast. The southern workshops have a fantastic schedule of speakers including:
- Marketing (Moama only): Angus Christian, Oilseeds Merchant - Cottonseed, Sunflowers, Soybeans; Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain Australia, Cargill
- Marketing (Dubbo only): Nick Goddard, Executive Director, Australian Oilseeds Federation, Sydney

- Agronomy including Irrigation Management: Loretta Serafin, District Agronomist, Tamworth & Acting Technical Specialist, Northern Farming Systems, NSW DPI
- Weed Management: Vikki Osten, Consultant Specialist – Weeds, Osten Weeds Consulting Pty Ltd (former Principal Research Scientist (Weeds) DEEDI AgriScience)
